As soon as my foot leaves the rock, the fear goes completely, every time. I get to experience what life is like without fear. When I am flying down, my senses are alive and fire twice as hard. My eyesight is at its best, my hearing is at its best...my reflexes are quicker than ever before. When it is over and I land, I am sometimes so overwhelmed with joy and excitement that nothing at that moment ever matters more than those last few moments I just had.
On the 14th August 2007, my brother Stephen Anderton (Steve) was killed in a BASE jumping accident in Langeappiken, Norway. What occurred as a result of his death over the following 10 years has been nothing short of inspirational, with over 1.2 million raised for charity. It’s a story of extreme sports, grief, loss, adventure and ultimately something beautiful being born out of the ashes. Pre orders for the book are being taken now.
Read the book, and help us raise our next million by donating to Charity Build Group. All funds raised will go towards Charity Build Group's construction projects to help generate income for charities focused on disadvantaged children. Let’s finish the job!
